Cables - Sets

Power Kits

You can’t really avoid the use of extension cables if you’re organizing an event. The standard power cables found on devices are often of sufficient length to connect directly to a wall socket. That’s why we offer complete cable sets. These kits contain a large amount of cable in different lengths. You can contact us if you’d like to rent a schuko kit with 2.5mm2 extension cables and power strips from Titanex. We also stock a complete 16-pin harting kit with different multi cables and break in and break out boxes.

Signal Kits

When connecting audiovisual equipment, you’ll need signal cables as well as power cables. These cables transfer data to the equipment so that it knows what to display. Since it’s difficult to determine exactly the right number of cables you’ll need in advance, we have put together complete sets. By renting an XLR kit you can be sure you’ll have enough signal cables to connect your audio equipment or lighting to DMX. If you go for an HDMI kit, you’ll have everything you need to connect video equipment. We also stock special audio and video adapters as well as the corresponding cables. This enables equipment with different connections to still be able to connect to each other.

Cables - Individual Rental Items

XLR

The XLR cable is perhaps the most versatile signal cable in the audiovisual industry. For years, this cable has been a reliable tool for the transmission of data. You can use this three-pronged cable both for connecting sound equipment and lighting to DMX. We use the well-known C128 cables made by Tasker. These are very reliable and robust, and therefore ideal for heavy duty use at events. On both ends of our XLR cabling you will find reliable three-pronged Neutrik connectors. These are the best in their class and the only plug suitable for events. You can come to us to rent XLR cables in lengths of 3, 5, 10 and 20 metres.

HDMI

For years there was no standard cable for connecting video equipment.; different types of cables and connections were used interchangeably. With the advent of higher resolutions, HDMI has become the standard. You can rent this commonly used type of cable from us. Our range consists only of HDMI 2.0 cables. These cables will ensure that you’re always up to date, as they support resolutions of up to 4096 mx 2160 pixels at 60Hz: full 4K and UHD resolutions. Perfect for connecting your laptop or media player to a 4K TV or projector. Contact us if you’d like to rent HDMI 2.0 cables in 3, 5, 10 and 15 metre lengths.

SDI

Even though HDMI is perfect for relaying video signals over short distances, these cables do not work over distances longer than 15 to 20 metres. Do you need a cable which can do this? Then you’ll need to switch to SDI cabling. SDI cables are suitable for transporting video signals over distances of up to 100 metres. We make use of Belden's 1505F and 1694F cables. This SDI cabling is robust, yet flexible. Depending on the length, you can use these cables with HD resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. If the cable is 50 metres or shorter then 4K resolutions up to 30Hz are no problem at all. We offer 3G-SDI and 6G-SDI cables in lengths of 3, 10, 20 and 50 metres.

CAT5

You’ve probably used this type of cable before: the network cable. Before the advent of wireless WiFi networks, this was the cable you had to use to connect your laptop or computer to the Internet. Nowadays this cable is used for other purposes. However, its core function remains the same: exchanging data between multiple devices. For example, you can use an Ethernet cable to connect a digital stage box to a mixing console, but also for creating a network between wireless microphone receivers. Our network cables are available in lengths of 3, 5, 10 and 20 metres and are equipped with standard RJ45 connectors.

Power

Power cables are indispensable at every event. They are also referred to as extension cables, extension cords or schuko. Without these cables you simply won’t have enough possibilities to connect all of your equipment. Sockets are never placed in convenient location, making extension cords necessary. You can rent 'normal' schuko power cables and power strips from us, as well as more specific power cables such as PowerCon and PowerCon TRUE1. Do you need loop-through cables for PowerCON and TRUE1? We also have those in stock. You’re also welcome to contact us if all you need is a simple Euro cable.

Harting

Harting hasn't done much in terms of innovation over the years. However, despite many developments in the field of audiovisual equipment, this multi-cable has always remained relevant. In the past, the 16-prong Harting cable was mainly used to transport dimming voltage to control lighting. Nowadays this is no longer necessary and harting is more often used to transport mains voltage of 230V. Using this multicable, it’s possible to create 8 power groups available at once on, for example, a truss. All that with a single cable. You can come to us if you need Harting cables in lengths of 10 and 20 metres. We also stock break-in and break-out boxes.

3-Phase Power

Are you organizing a large event or a meeting that requires a lot of equipment? Then you’ll probably have to make use of power current. Whereas 'normal' sockets can often supply too little power to connect all equipment, you have many more possibilities when using power current. You can come to us if you need commonly used 5-pronged red power cables. These CEE cables are available in lengths of 10 and 20 metres. We have the right cabling for every 400V connection. Do you need 16A, 32A, 63A or 125A? No problem. We stock all of the 380V power cables you need.

Cable Accessories

It may come as a surprise, but there is such a thing as cable accessories. The purpose of these is usually increasing safety at events. We always set up cables as neatly and safely as possible, but sometimes you can't avoid laying cables where there will be a lot of foot traffic. To make this as safe as possible, you can cover these cables with a special cable bridge. This prevents visitors from tripping over the cables, but also from damaging them. Of course, you can also choose to stick the cables using gaffa or gaffer tape. We supply this tape in black, grey and white. In order to build a safe truss construction, you’ll need to provide it with a grounding cable. We’ve got everything you need in stock.
