When visiting a venue, it’s prudent to check where the sockets are located. It’s often the case that the connections to the mains are not positioned exactly where the equipment is. The standard cabling which comes with the equipment often isn’t long enough to reach the socket. An extension cable is the best solution. We offer various lengths, including this 10 metre long version.

Extension cable properties

When renting an extension cable, you assume that the product is high-quality and reliable. When ordering from us, you can be sure of this! Our power cables are subject to an annual NEN3140 inspection. During this inspection, the power cables are checked for safety and functionality. This way you are guaranteed the quality you’re paying for. This extension cable is 10 metres long and-like its longer and shorter counterparts- is 2.5mm thick. Because these cores are thicker than an average extension cord from any DIY store, this cable can easily cope with higher output. Ideal for events where the mains are often loaded to the maximum.

Colour coding

In order to be able to easily and quickly distinguish the different lengths of cable, we use a colour coding system. Each cable is provided with a cable tie in the colour yellow, blue, red or green. Each colour represents a different cable length. This 10 metre long cable comes with a red cable tie. This applies not only to this extension cable, but to all types of cabling with a length of 10 metres in our assortment.

Use

The cable tie not only serves to indicate the length- it is also suitable for tying up and securing the cable during transport. The Velcro on the cable tie allows you to easily roll up the cable after use and keep it together. This way you can easily transport the cable without damaging it. We deliver the cables this way and expect to get them back in the same state. If the cables aren’t returned neatly rolled up or are returned dirty, we unfortunately have to charge you for re-bundling or cleaning the cables. Is this cable too short for your needs?
