XLR Kit

XLR is by far the most commonly used signal cable for controlling audiovisual equipment. Whether you want to connect microphones, wire speakers or amplifier racks, connect lighting to the lighting desk, or connect a wireless DMX transmitter, you’ll need to use XLR. You can come to us for all of the cables you need. You may be able to predetermine how many cables you’ll need and rent the perfect number and lengths of cables. It usually isn’t that easy, though- it’s tough to estimate exactly how many cables you’ll need, and how long they need to be. In these cases we advise renting a complete set, such as the XLR kit. This kit provides you with a wide range of signal cables in different lengths. This way you can always give the technicians enough choice to find the most suitable length for their needs.

XLR Features

Our XLR cables use the well-known Tasker C128 cable. This is the one and only standard for multifunction signal cables. Tasker cabling is very robust and not very susceptible to damage. Because of the braided sheath, this cable can withstand heavy use. Repeating winding and unwinding poses no problems for this cable. In addition, this XLR cable retains its flexibility despite its robustness. This kit includes the following: - 20x XLR 3 metre - 20x XLR 5 metre - 20x XLR 10 metre - 10x XLR 20 metre There is a 3-pin Neutrik plug on both ends of these cables. We chose these connectors on purpose because of the low risk of damage. Connectors produced by other brands tend to easily get misshapen easily, causing them to no longer be round. What then happens is that the plugs no longer fit in the connection. This is of course extremely inconvenient. With Neutrik's connectors it’s not a problem if you accidentally step on the plug.

Returning

We take great care of our cables in order to provide our clients with reliable cabling. That’s why we always deliver cables neatly coiled up and clean. We expect the rented cables to be returned in the same condition.  If you return cables to us uncoiled and/or dirty, we will add a surcharge to our rental fee.
