Harting Kit

Harting is perhaps the most underestimated type of cable. This multi-cable proves its merit in many different ways, time and time again. Harting used to be used differently than it is today. This doesn’t have much to do with the cabling itself, but more with the development of the equipment around it. In the past, harting was mainly used to transport dimming voltage. Lighting was done using halogen or incandescent lamps, which were controlled by varying the voltage. A lower voltage resulted in less light. A higher voltage provided more light. Nowadays, pretty much all lighting is done using LEDs. However, these lamps cannot withstand any voltage other than that which comes from the mains- you guessed it, 230V. Any other voltage will cause damage to the equipment.

Harting

Harting is a 16-wire multicable which is ideal for transporting power. With eight wire pairs, it’s possible to supply 8 independent current or dimming groups with voltage, for example on a truss hanging from your location’s ceiling. You only need to lay a single cable to provide this voltage. It’s that quick and easy.

Set

This set consists of six 16-pin harting cables. Four of them are 10 metres long and two are 20 metres long. Furthermore, this kit includes two special break ins and 4 break out boxes including loop-through. With these materials you can create different kinds of setups. For example, you can make two independent coring lines with an infeed of 30 metres, a break out box, loop through of 10 metres and another break out box. In this setup you can also vary the length of the cable. A shorter supply and longer loop through is also a possibility. Are you looking for a specific number of Harting cables or parts?
