When organizing a small event only a small amount of equipment is usually required. This means that the necessary equipment will also only require a small amount of power. In this situation, a 'normal' power outlet will be sufficient to power all the equipment. Larger events often require more equipment to get messages across. More speakers, more screens, more lighting. The bottom line is that these devices require more power to function. However, a power outlet has a limit to how much power it can supply. If you exceed this limit, the fuse will block the power supply for safety reasons. Do you want to prevent this? Then you can make use of this three-phase electric power generator.

Power Current Properties

Simply put, a three-phase power connection is a more powerful version of a normal power outlet. You've probably seen it before: a distinctive red, 5-pronged connection. However, you won’t be able to connect a normal plug to it- the connections simply won’t match up. You’ll need a special extension cable which is suitable for this amount of power. These cables are thicker than normal power cables and also are equipped with the recognizable red 5-pronged connector. In order to be able to eventually connect equipment to this, you’ll need a special break-out box. This splits the power current to the usual schuko connections.

Extension cable

This extension cable is suitable for use in combination with 16A power connections. Unlike schuko connections, not all 5-pin CEE connections are interchangeable. This cable has 2.5m2 conductors and is therefore not suitable to carry more than 16A current per phase. This cable is 10m long. We pride ourselves on our high-quality cabling.
