This lighting doesn’t only have 20 hours of nonstop battery life, but is also a waterproof. In combination with the robust aluminium casing and powerful LEDs, it is very suitable for use as outdoor lighting to illuminate architecture or other objects.

Building, Facade or Architecture

Illuminating a building, bridge or facade in the open air can pose many challenges. Of course, the equipment must be able to withstand the weather, but one must also ensure that traffic will not be bothered by the lighting. This wireless AX10 set is put to good use as facade or architectural lighting. The spotlights in this set function completely wirelessly, so there’s no need to fiddle around with cables and cable ducts. In combination with an AsteraBox it’s even possible to set in advance when the outdoor lighting needs to be switched on and off. That way you don't actually have to be present to make sure the lighting is on and in the right position. This building lighting also has an IP65 rating, which means it’s splash proof. It’s no problem to use it in rain, snow or hail.

Uplight

You’re not obligated to use these spots as outdoor lighting. You can also use them as mood lighting at a conference or convention. Convention centres are often quite high, which means that 'normal' uplights often fail. These wireless spotlights can also be used as uplights at business events. Rooms up to 8 meters high pose no problem at all. The light along the wall or pillar will come into its own in spite of the height. The spotlights in this set have a very well designed bracket. You can use this bracket to attach it to a truss, grid or tube system. However, when you unfold the feet on this bracket you have a perfect base on which to place the spotlights as uplights or uplighter.

Accessories

These spots from the Astera range come with all kinds of useful accessories. Just like the small AX3 LightDrop and the multifunctional AX5 TriplePAR, this spotlight has a standard beam with an opening angle of 13 degrees. Using the supplied filters, you can adjust this beam to your liking. For general lighting you can use the flood filter. For light along a wall you may prefer to use the WallWash filter.
