Baseplate Pin 10 cm

The use of pipe & drape is impossible without baseplates. This weighted ground plates make sure the upright remains upright. However, between the baseplate and the upright there is another crucial element. You will be needing the orange pin. Without this pin, the upright will fall over. So never forget, when ordering a baseplate, also order a pipe & drape pin.

Application Baseplate Pin 

The orange pin makes the connection between the baseplate and the upright. The baseplate generates the surface needed. The 10 cm pin is suitable when pipe & drape is used with curtains. When you use the pipe & drape system for mounting lights, we recommend to use the longer 40 cm pin.

Connection Pin

The orange pin comes always including an Allen Key screw. This bolt is mounted in the bottom of the pin. By connecting the pin to the baseplate, you firstly have to remove the bolt from the pin. Choose the right hole in the baseplate. Want to know more about which hole to use? Check the baseplate page. Make sure you have the baseplate the right way around. The shape of the bolt has to be milled out at the side you enter the pin. Put the orange pin on the other side of the baseplate and mount the pieces together. This can be done without tools. Dismantle of course, is the other way around.
