Baseplate 45 x 45 cm

This baseplate serves as foundation for any pipe & drape construction. No matter how small or large, without the baseplate the construction will simply not stay upright. This baseplate covers, together with the pins, for the stable base of your system. When ordering this product, don't forget to also order the right pins. In most situations the 10cm pin will be sufficient. For more intensive applications, like the use of a light effect on top of an upright, we recommend the 40cm version.

Free standing Pipe & Drape 

This baseplate is provided with 3 holes. This offers the possibility to mount multiple uprights to the baseplate, however in practice that would not happen too often. Most commonly used is the hole in the middle. When you mount the pin to this hole the weight is best balanced over the plate. This ensures you the upright won't tilt to one direction.

Positioning close to a wall 

Whenever you place a section close to a wall, it's better to use the whole that is positioned on the outer-side of the plate. This gives you the space to shift the baseplate close to the wall. A perfect option when you want to cover up a wall. This will still give stability to the system. Tilting to the side of the wall is not possible and the other side will have the full length of the baseplate as reinforcement.

Positioning in a corner

The last hole in the plate is positioned at the corner of the plate. This connection is only used when the baseplate serves as final plate in a stretch and when positioned close to a wall. Using this hole will decrease the stability somewhat. The plate has on 2 sides no support. However with the stability of the other baseplates and the wall behind it, it can't go anywhere.
