Preparing for a business event with foreign guests, a museum tour or an exhibition? This whisper set for up to 20 people can be an indispensable tool for your event. A whisper set allows you to get your message across, even if the room in which your event takes place has a lot of background noise or if it needs to remain completely quiet.
Normally such locations do not lend themselves to speeches, guided tours or presentations. However, the use of a whisper set makes it possible. With a whisper set, each participant wears headphones and the presenter or tour guide can quietly tell their story using the microphone.
Trade fair
We will use a trade fair as a practical example of a setting in which this set really comes into its own. During a fair, you are only allowed to produce a set amount of decibels out of consideration for the other exhibitors. This makes it a challenge to tell a group of visitors about your products. Using the whisper set, this problem is a thing of the past. Since the visitors hear the message via headphones, other exhibitors and visitors to the fair will not be bothered by your presentation. On the other hand, those who have a specific interest can follow your representative’s presentation undisturbed by others.
As an exhibitor you might consider, for example, imitating a kind of 'cinema setting' in your exhibition stand. Place a whisper set on each chair or stool and start a presentation at certain times. You will even be able to offer the presentation in several languages. The visitor can choose which presentation he or she follows. The whisper set allows the audience to receive the audio from the microphone but also, for example, an audio track that accompanies a video presentation.
Translation system
The devices which we use in our whisper systems are designed to be extremely easy to use. Even the selection of different languages can be done by a layman. A set consists of headphones and a so-called 'beltpack'. The beltpack is a small box with which the desired channel can be selected. For example, you can give an English presentation on channel 1 and set the Dutch translation to be on channel 2.

This whisper set is a complete package and is delivered ready to use. The content of this set is as follows:
- 1 wireless handheld microphone for the speaker
- 20 wireless receivers with batteries
- 20 headphones connected to the wireless receivers
Sometimes presenters prefer to have their hands free during the presentation. Perhaps a demonstration will be given during the presentation, making holding a microphone impossible. In these cases it is of course possible to replace the wireless handheld microphone with a
wireless tie clip or
headset microphone.
