There are stricter and stricter safety regulations and checks during events. Anchoring your construction and protecting it against all kinds of weather conditions is becoming increasingly important. This concrete block, ballast block, or heavy baseplate can be used for many different purposes. Due to it's 450 KG weight, the ballast block is suitable for anchoring truss constructions, banner frames and tents in outdoor environments. The concrete has been dipped in a black, powder coated steel casing. This makes it less unsightly and makes it possible to place it even at chic events and festivals. This ballast block also has 4 conical connectors for Prolyte H30V trusses. With its exact 50 cm height, it also gets rid of the need for complex calculations.

Transport Ballast 

Even-though these ballast blocks have a weight of 450 KG, transport is relatively easy when you have a forklift or pallet-jack or cherrypicker. Due to it's width of 66 cm, a pallet-jack will fit underneath. Are you looking for a smaller option to stabilise your construction? Take a look at our baseplates of 55 x 55 cm. These weigh 25 KG and can be transported without additional tools.
