The videobar comes with speakers to project your audio, microphones to record sound and a camera in order to make any participants visible for online guests. Intelligent Camera

The name ‘videobar’ contains a hint as to what it does. This device from Harmonic Design comes with a camera. Not just any camera, but one that helps online meetings and discussions run more smoothly. With most setups, it is a challenge to make sure that all participants are visible on camera. That’s why this videobar has a Hudly camera with a lens angle of 120 degrees. This wide angle means that everyone in the room will be visible on camera. Are there fewer people in the room, or is such a wide angle not necessary? Then the camera will automatically adjust the image. Thanks to the built-in face recognition technology, the image will constantly adjust to new situations. If the group isn’t sitting right in front of the camera, the image will rotate. Will some members of the group be leaving partway through the meeting? Then the camera will zoom in on the remaining participants in order to make sure they are more clearly visible. This means you can always be certain of the best image quality.

Integrated Audio

It’s not just this videobar’s camera that is super intelligent. The audio is also of outstanding quality- both the playback and the recording. Let’s talk first about the playback. The videobar comes with multiple powerful speakers in order to provide clear audio over the entire spectrum. This conference camera even comes with a number of subwoofers to provide good bass. In order to record, this videobar has a number of integrated microphones. These microphones work independently of each other, meaning that the volumes of the microphones are automatically adjusted depending on the situation in the room. If two people in the room are having a discussion- one person close to the videobar and the other further away- the videobar automatically adjusts the volumes of these microphones so that the audio is played back at the same level for the online participants. Even if you’re sitting 9 metres away from the videobar, it won’t be a problem at all. It’s even possible to connect external microphones to the videobar. This means that a guest speaker can use a headset microphone or a wireless handheld microphone if so desired.

Installing VideoBar

This videobar comes with a special connection with which you can connect it to our TV stands. You will need to connect the conference camera to a power outlet. The camera and microphones work using a USB cable which you can connect to a laptop, which is not included in this rental. Audio can be played back in several ways. Are you using a TV screen? Then the laptop will send the audio signal through the HDMI cable. You can also connect your laptop to the conference camera using Bluetooth. Last but not least, it’s also possible to use the headphone input of your computer. There are more than enough possibilities. This videobar is suitable for use with TV screens of 75’’ and up.
