Meeting Set 1
During a meeting you want to make sure that everyone can understand each other well. This prevents any ambiguity afterwards with regards to the discussed topics. We understand that everything during a meeting or consultation should be geared towards conveying the topics and message clearly. This meeting set enables this.
Of course, this set is not exclusively for meetings. You can also use this set for a discussion or workshop. Don't be boxed in by the product’s name. It’s possible that it could work for your event.
It’s perfect and ready to use for small meetings, workshops and discussions. The set consists of a sound system, which is powerful enough for groups of up to 50 people, eight gooseneck microphones for the speakers and a complete control rack.
Meeting
With a total of 8 table microphones this set is very suitable for small meetings, workshops or a small discussion. This does not necessarily mean that you can’t use this set for a group larger than 8 people. That has more to do with the allocation of the microphones.
Depending on the meeting’s setup, you will be able to determine where the microphones should be placed. If a meeting is organised by a 'board' or management, the microphones are usually placed on their table(s). Usually, extra microphones are placed in the room for the public.
At general meetings within a department or board you will quite often find square or u-setups. Here the microphones are often distributed over the tables. Can you only use this set for up to 8 people? Certainly not. Often you will see that one microphone is available per 2 persons. It is possible to share a microphone with 3 persons, but this is often considered quite undesirable. However, if you don’t mind sharing between 3, this set would be suitable for meetings up to 24 persons.
Microphones
But why exactly does this set make use of gooseneck microphones? Of course this has largely to do with the sound, but there’s another reason. A gooseneck microphone has a flexible neck which is easy to bend towards you, therefore multiple speakers per microphone will pose no problem at all. You simply bend the microphone towards the speaker's mouth.
Gooseneck microphones are also very sensitive. This means in practice that it doesn't really matter much if a speaker talks a bit further away from the microphone. The mic will still capture the voice sufficiently to reproduce it with the utmost clarity. This is especially essential in meetings, where every word needs to be heard equally clearly.
Each
gooseneck microphone comes with a
table stand. This makes it possible to mount the gooseneck microphones on a table base which can then be placed on the table. These table stands have a diameter of only 13cm, so they take up very little space. These table stands are also equipped with an on/off switch. This gives each speaker control over their own microphone. With a simple push of the button the microphone is switched on. One more push of the button and the microphone is switched off again.
Do you need more microphones? No problem. Via the related items at the bottom of this page you can quickly and easily add extra gooseneck microphones and table stands. For every extra microphone you will also need to add an extra table stand.
Speakers
This meeting set comes with 2 compact speakers and elegant stands without any protruding parts. Perfectly suited for more sophisticated locations, such as hotels and conference centres. These speakers are guaranteed to provide crystal clear sound for groups of up to 50 people with. The the cabling required to connect this sound system is of course included in the set.
Directing
Most people get the jitters when they hear the word ‘directing’. It is an essential part of configuration and often entails many buttons and sliders with which you can ruin everything. We understand this and that's why we’ve been working on and developing many aspects of directing.
This meeting set comes standard with a compact control rack. Once it has been set up and set up by our technicians, there is nothing that can go wrong. This control rack is - as you may expect from us - neatly fitted with a skirt, which makes it look quite elegant.
On top of this, the control rack is equipped with a compact digital mixing console. This sounds very complicated, but it's not that bad. This mixer has a built-in touchscreen, with which everything can be adjusted. If you have this set delivered including assembly and disassembly, we will have of course already done this.
