This ELC dmXLAN Node GBx 8 is a versatile network node that can be set up to distribute DMX data over the network.

Network

Where it used to be necessary to run a separate DMX line from the light table for each universe. Nowadays this can be done via network. This means that laying one network cable is now sufficient to send a very large amount of data. In the node or nodes you can then indicate which 5-pin DMX port should output which universe. This allows you to send out a maximum of 8 universes per node. If you want to send out more universes, you can loop multiple nodes together. You can also use the node as a DMX splitter. By having each DMX port output the same universe, you create up to 8 of the same DMX outputs.

Protocols

The dmXLAN Node GBx 8 can handle the most common protocols, such as Art-Net, sACN and ShowNet. This node also supports RDM and has active feedback. This immediately reports errors in the line, such as a pulled cable or short circuit.
