YouTube Works Awards

Commissioned by Divimove, we provided the audio and lighting during the YouTube Works Awards. A new award show with which the well-known video platform wants to show that creativity, innovation and effectiveness go hand in hand.

The most innovative and effective campaigns were awarded on basis of different categories. Who has responded best to the events of 2020? Which media strategy has led to the best business result? Which campaign created a major impact, contrary to any expectations? The cherry on the cake is the “Grand Prix”. The award for the most creative, innovative and data-driven campaign with clear business results.

Roaring Twenties

The award show was completely 1920s themed. Not just the style, clothing and decoration. Even the venue, Pathé Tuschinski, was completely chosen with the roaring twenties theme in mind. It was up to us to make sure that the audiovisual technology aligned to the theme as well. Early on, we decided to emphasise the round shapes in the former theater. No squares, rectangles or other industrial shapes. Only elegant round shapes. With this in mind, we provided the stage with six truss pillars constructed out of circle parts. To mimic the old-fashioned effect of the halogen audience blinders, these pillars were fitted with 60 wireless AX3 LightDrops. The use of these wireless spots made it easier to carry out changes on the stage, because the complete lighting package operated without a single cable being used. The back cloth was also fitted with eight AX10 SpotMax lamps. The front light was provided by six Infinity TS-300WW profile spots. Curious to know what we can offer you for your award show?
