TV Set – 100 People

This TV set can of course be used for events other than just a workshop for up to 100 people. These screens really come into their own at seminars, breakout sessions, large conventions, or presentations. Whether this set is actually suitable for up to 100 people depends on the content that needs to be displayed. If mainly videos and images are going to be shown, then a 100 person audience is perfectly realistic. If the presentation gets a bit more technical, with bar graphs and tables, we recommend decreasing the number of audience members. If this isn’t possible, order a set with larger screens.

What does this TV set consist of?

This TV set consists of two 60″ TV screens on a chic stand. The height at which the screens are attached to the stands is completely up to you. In order to display the same content on both screens, this set comes with an HDMI splitter. Just like you would with a single screen, simply connect one HDMI cable to your laptop. The splitter shares the video signal so that the same content will be displayed on both screens.

How big is 60″, really?

Dimensions of video products are often indicated using the inch as a unit of measurement. In the Netherlands we don’t usually measure things in inches, so it’s often difficult to estimate product sizes accurately. The size of a projection or TV screen is always indicated by the screen’s diagonal. This refers to the length from bottom left to top right corner or vice versa. When measured using the more familiar unit of centimetres, an image diagonal of 60" is over 150 cm:  152.4 centimetres to be precise. This is many times larger than a regular television, but smaller than a projection screen.

TV set connections

As previously described, this set comes with HDMI cabling for connecting the laptop and displays to the splitter. Keep in mind that your laptop must also be equipped with an HDMI connection. Don’t have one? Rent a laptop via the related items at the bottom of this page. We also recommend double checking before the workshop whether there is any audio in your presentation. The HDMI splitter doesn’t support audio, so it won’t be relayed to the TV screens. Need audio support? You can play audio using an external audio set. This will allow all of your audience members to be able to hear everything clearly.

Assembly & Disassembly

Are you good with technical things? Then you’ll probably be able to assemble and disassemble this set yourself. Not sure? Just add assembly and disassembly to your order. You’ll be much less stressed out knowing that everything will be well taken care of.

Accessories

If you have to organise a workshop or seminar, you’ll have a lot on your plate. You may be wondering if you’ve thought of everything. For example, have you thought whether you may need a presentation remote or a countdown timer? Is your laptop even suitable for displaying the presentation? Are you expecting more than 100 audience members? Will you be displaying very detailed data on the TV screens? In that case, we recommend renting a set with larger screens.
