40″ Preview Monitor

For this product many names apply. Preview monitor, foldback monitor, comfort monitor or down stage monitor. A lot of different names, but all the same product. A preview monitor is typically placed on the edge of the stage or just in front of it. Having a screen facing the speaker directly, one does not have to turn around to the main screen when giving a presentation. Thus more engagement with the audience and less distractions. Depending on the wishes of the speaker a preview monitor can also display notes and even the next slide. This all depends on the settings of Powerpoint or Keynote. This makes a comfort monitor often a requirement for a conference, convention or other corporate event.

Size Preview Monitor

This monitor set is based on a 40" screen. A modern 40" 4K LED monitor gives you a crisp and clear picture display. The screen diagonal of this monitor is 102 cm. This makes this monitor suitable for stages up to 12m2 or presentations with 1 or 2 speakers at the same time. Connection 

This foldback monitor has 4 HDMI inputs. HDMI has as limitation that it can't be distributed over distances. Therefore the signal is often converted to SDI. Front of house with all the controls in the rear of the room? In that case it's recommendable to use SDI cabling and convert the signal locally back to HDMI. That way the technicians in the back of the room can control the down stage monitor. Depending on the video equipment used, they can even influence what data is displayed on the screen.
