The AKG C519M is the clip-on condensor microphone most suited to wind instruments such as saxophone or trumpet. The clip on microphone gives freedom of movement without sacrificing sound quality. This means that the performer will not have to stand in front of a microphone on a stand, allowing them to interact more freely with the band

Mount

The microphone has a special clip which can be used to attach it to your wind instrument. A thin cable runs from it to an XLR plug, allowing you to connect the mic to any sound panel with phantom power. Are you unsure if your sound panel has phantom power?
