Star Drape 600 x 300 cm

Do you want your location to look extra festive? Or are you looking for atmosphere-enhancing effect? This star drape provides a beautiful and atmospheric result by means of the built-in LED lights. Star drapes are primarily used at events where the atmosphere is very important. This includes events such as dinners, Christmas parties or galas. The integrated lighting can be used in different ways. You may want a light twinkling effect, but faster and more full-on effects are also possible.

Uses

One or more star drapes are great for smaller events. They are often used standalone. This means that you use the programs which are stored in the controller. Using this controller you can of course select the desired program, but also adjust the speed and the dimmer. This allows you to have full control over the star drape in a very simple manner. Prefer not to use a preset program? No problem. You can program the drape to respond to sound. On the controller you then choose one of the preset programs, after which you have to set the sensitivity and dimmer. If, for example, a DJ or band is performing at your gala or Christmas party, then you can go for a lower sensitivity. At high sensitivity, the microphone on the controller will pick up too much sound. During dinner itself you may prefer a higher sensitivity, otherwise the built-in microphone may not pick up enough sound. Have you hung up multiple star drapes? It’s probably nice to program them all to run the same program simultaneously. Programming can be done via the Master / Slave function. This means that you assign one of the star drapes to be the master. This will provide the other star drapes - the slaves - with the same playback information. This allows each star drape to run the same program at the same time, creating a unified whole quickly and easily. Are you using multiple star drapes as part of a complete show, like in a theatre? Then you can also control the star drapes via DMX. Each star drape has a controller with a 3-prong DMX in/output. This allows you to control the star drapes completely according to your wishes using your lighting panel. The star drape has two DMX modes: 5 or 12 channel. This offers enough possibilities for you to create your own show.

Material

The star drape is made of very sturdy black flannel fabric. This fabric has of course been completely and permanently impregnated, which means that the star drape has been deemed sufficiently fireproof to be used at public events. Furthermore the star drape, depending on how it's used, measures either 6x3 meters or 3x6 meters. What it comes down to is that each star drape has two long and two short sides. Both the long and short sides are fitted with rings. Using these rings you can easily attach the star drape to a tube frame or truss with tie wraps or spanfix. Not possible at your location? Then you can make use of the other long or short side. These are equipped with Velcro, which makes it easy to attach the star drape to something. The fabric is equipped with the 'loop’ half of the velcro, so it can only be stuck to material which is fitted with the 'hook’ half. Are neither of these possible at your location? Then we can offer you our pipe & drape system with star drape. This system comes with its own support frame, so you won’t have any trouble placing the drape in locations where there are no possibilities to hang it up.
