Sennheiser Antenna Set

It can sometimes occur that senders and receivers of wireless microphone sets cannot be placed within a close distance of each other. Sometimes this is due to practical reasons; sometimes technical issues can be the root of the problem. When the wireless signal has to travel large distances or encounters other signals along the way, it can happen that the Sennheiser antennae which are normally provided simply aren’t up to the task.

Reach

You can use special Sennheiser antennas in these situations: the so-called directional antennae. This allows you to direct the reception reach of the receiver to a specific area, for example if the direction of your event is taking place at the back of your venue, you can use this Sennheiser antenna to receive more frequencies from the stage. This makes sense as the largest number of microphones will be found in that area. This not only strengthens the received signal, but also lowers the level of static which is picked up on regular antennae.

Splitter

This Sennheiser antenna set comes not only with 2 directional antennae, but also with a splitter. This splitter comes with 2 inputs (for the antennae) and 8 outputs. This allows you to connect 4 receivers with the true diversity function. These four receivers will then work with just 2 antennae.
