Videowall 4 x 4

A videowall? What does that mean? Well, it's a collaboration of multiple individual TV screens. Instead that those TV screens all display their own individual content, they all work together to display one larger picture. By combining the TV screens into one single videowall you can create a large videoscreen which with one individual TV screen never would have been possible.

Videowall 

This videowall is the result of 16 TV screens. A setup with 4 screens wide and 4 screen high. Just like with a regular TV screen, the resolution of the videowall will be 16:9. Do you own 16 TV screens yourself and thinking about making your own videowall? That's unfortunately not possible. In a videowall all screens need to be 100% identical and have a powerful processor on board. The input signal is distributed from screen to screen. Based on orientation and position settings, the screens all display their part of the total image. Videowall TV screens have a very thin bezel. Only 5,2 mm's thick. This way, by connecting the screens together, only a small bezel in between will be visible. This 4 x 4 videowall configuration has a diagonal screen size of 467 cm.

Wall mounted or self-supporting? 

A videowall a very good an affordable option to display images on exhibitions, tradeshows, conventions and workshops. Compared to conventional projection a videowall does not get influenced by the incidence of light. Compared to another viable option for above-mentioned events, a LED pixelwall, the videowall is far more affordable. For placement of the videowall there are many different options. At an exhibition, the video screens often get mounted to the backwall. The frame supporting the individual screens is easily mounted to a wooden wall. However, bear in mind that this wall should be capable of carrying the weight load of the screen. Wall mounting not possible at your event? Then placing the setup on a self-supporting stand is an option. This way you are not depended on the facilities at your venue.

Displaying video content

Due to the vulnerability of the TV screens we will always stress the need for proper instalment. We recommend to use our setup and dismantle service. This way you are certain of a good and safe result. To display content on the videowall a laptop is needed. We always recommend to add this to your enquiry. Our laptops have essential software installed for the videowall. Even if there is a power outage at your venue, all settings remain saved when using one of our laptops. When the power is up again, the videowall is automatically restart and start to display the video without any intervention of a technician.
