Videowall 2 x 2

A videowall is a concatenation of smaller videoscreens forming one larger screen. This particular videowall is based on a 2 x 2 configuration. Meaning it's build-up out of 4 smaller TV screens. These TV screens however aren't you regular consumer type of TV screen. This type of TV screen of the renowned Samsung brand are specially made for this type of applications. These TV screens all have a strong processor which enables them to get a dedicated position and orientation within the overall videowall setup. The thin 5,2mm bezel of the screens ensures an almost seamless connection with each other. Once all screens are mounted and assigned in the 2 x 2 configuration, you will have a large video screen with a 233cm diameter. The videowall is able to display full HD quality.

Assembly 

The big advantage of this type of setup is that you have a relatively large screen which is affordable for your event. In addition, in contrast to projection, you do not have to take into account sunlight in the room or placement of a projector. A videowall can be placed on a self-supporting stand or mounted to a strong wooden wall thus enabling you to integrate the videowall into a backdrop. A certain technical knowhow is needed for setup. Furthermore the TV screens need to be handled delicately. Therefore we strongly recommend to make use of our setup and dismantle service. Once mounted the system is easy to use for all.

Connecting to a video source

We strongly recommend to use the videowall in combination with a mini-PC of laptop out of our rental fleet. Due to the fact that on these devices certain software has been been installed. This software optimises the use of the videowall. For example, these devices can, even with an unintentional reboot of the system (e.g. due to power outage), automatically continue where they left off. As a result, the combination of videowall and laptop  makes the videowall ideal for the use during a trade show, convention or exhibition.
