"Communication is key" is a common saying, and that’s not entirely unjustified. During a meeting you obviously want as little noise as possible. The intelligibility of the participants is essential. The materials included in this meeting set ensure that everyone is well-understood enough to get the message across qualitatively. Nowadays, when the Dutch language is taking over more and more words from English, it is difficult to define when a ‘meeting’ really takes place. Meeting, work meeting, workshop- technically they’re all different words for the same thing. This meeting set has been set up especially for such events and really comes into its own here. With a complete control rack and 16 gooseneck microphones, this set is ideal for groups of up to 50 people.

Microphones

This meeting set contains 16 gooseneck microphones. The name of these microphones kind of gives away how the microphones are used. The long and flexible neck means that the microphones can be bent in any direction. This allows every speaker to adjust the distance between them and the microphone, even at discussions and meetings where microphones have to be shared by several people. Nowadays it’s very common for a microphone to be shared by multiple people. Sharing a gooseneck microphone with 2 people is perfectly possible. This means that this set includes enough microphones for meetings of up to 32 participants. It may even be possible to have three people share the microphones. This is most likely not ideal, but it would make this set suitable for as many as 48 participants.

On / Off Switch

During meetings, it may occasionally happen that you don’t want to attract any attention- perhaps a conversation with a colleague or a group that turns away from the general discussion. This can be very disturbing when the words of the person actually speaking need to be heard clearly by all participants. That’s why every microphone is equipped with an on/off switch. This allows each participant to decide for themselves whether the microphones are on or off. Are 16 microphones not sufficient for the number of participants? Don’t worry. Please take into account that each additional gooseneck microphone also requires an extra table stand.

Speakers

It often happens that meeting rooms or hotels do not have their own sound system at their disposal. To ensure high quality sound production, this set is equipped with 2 compact speakers on elegant stands. The stands consist of a slim upright pole and a flat baseplate and are perfect for more luxurious locations. As may be expected from us, this set comes with the necessary cabling to set everything up. This set is sufficient for 50 persons.

Direction

The equipment in this set needs to work in tandem. This means, for example, that the microphones and speakers cannot deliver good quality without a good control set. The word directing scares people without AV knowledge, but there’s no need to be worried! This conference set is equipped with a digital mixing console with a built-in touch screen. If you are familiar with how to operate a tablet, this mixer shouldn’t be too intimidating. It’s possible to ask for a short explanation from our technicians. These instructions are often given after our technicians have assembled and set up the complete meeting set. The cables are of course neatly concealed and the equipment will be adjusted to the specific room. Everything will be done to maintain the event’s elegant appearance. The control set will be provided with a subtle black skirt for this reason. Do you have sufficient technical knowledge? Then you can choose to assemble and disassemble the set yourself. It goes without saying that you can still make use of our transport service, which means that we will still deliver the materials to the desired location. You will only have to worry about the assembly and disassembly.
