Magic FX Swirl Fan XL

As opposed to the Magic FX powershot or the Magic FX Stadiumshot, this Magic FX Swirl Fan XL creates a totally different confetti effect. This swirl fan uses a ventilator to swirl the confetti outwards. The confetti is hurled out of the bucket, rather than shot into the air. This creates a slow falling confetti rain with a range of max 5 metres around the confetti bucket. Rather than having one confetti moment, you can control the output of the confetti . You can start and stop the confetti rain until the swirl fan is empty. This is different from the "shots" which shoot the entire confetti load at once.

Use of the Magic FX Swirl Fan XL

This Magic FX Fan XL works in almost total silence, making it perfect for use in a studio or during a TV recording. The swirl fan can only be used at venues with a high ceiling. A minimum height of 5 metres is required. Even more height will have a positive effect on the effect. The higher you suspend the swirl fan, the wider the effect of the confetti. If there is no truss or piping system at your location, contact us and we can provide it for you. Feel free to contact us for a quotation. In order to control and regulate the confetti rain, you will need a dimmer and controller. This allows you to control the speed of the ventilator. The stream/diametre/output of the confetti rain are linked to the speed of the fan.The single dimmer also enables you to connect the swirl to your lighting desk. This is done via DMX protocol. Thus enabling you to integrate the confetti into the programming of the whole show you are creating.

Confetti

The Swirl can be filled with up to 3 KG of confetti. Depending on the speed of the fan, the effect can last from 2 to 8 minutes. The confetti is not included in the rent. You can add confetti for €17.50,- per KG. A wide range of colours are available.
