Light Totem 4x Moving Head

Moving heads are an ideal supplement to basic lighting, such as our wireless LED spotlights. With coloured light beams, movements, patterns and figures, these moving heads always create a festive and celebratory atmosphere. These moving heads can function completely wirelessly, just like our wireless LED spotlights. Thanks to the built-in battery, these moving heads can run wirelessly for 7 to 14 hours. This depends on how they are used. If programmed to move a lot or to display very bright beams, the moving heads will run out of battery more quickly than when used as static ambient lighting or with rotating gobo.

Controlling

Moving heads are the ultimate example of intelligent lighting. Is this term really deserved? Yes and no. The moving heads need to be provided with the pertinent information about the desired movements, colours and figures. The moving heads also have their own internal programmes. However, these may be unsuitable for many types of events. That’s why this light set includes a light controller. Fortunately, this is also easy to operate for anyone- even laymen. The light controller consists of a smart 6-fold 'button box'. Different functions are programmed onto all buttons. This includes calmer light settings for a dinner or the start of a company party. There are also quicker and more festive programmes for afterparties or galas. Isn't 6 buttons a bit small? Not in this case! There are several functions or programmes set to each button. This allows you to control and adjust multiple functions with one button. That sounds very complicated, but it's not too bad. This light controller can be used by anyone. It’s hard to go wrong.

Wireless

The moving heads can function without being connected to an outlet, but cabling is still required to control them. This is in order to make it possible for less experienced users to be able to control the moving heads as well. This cabling needs to link the light controller to the moving heads. However, once the controller is linked to the first moving head, you can simply connect each light to the next. The order in which you choose to do this doesn’t matter. It’s also possible to control the lighting completely wirelessly, but we only recommend this to experienced lighting technicians or audiovisual professionals. You will need an AsteraBox in order to control this set completely wirelessly. The AsteraBox transmits the information from the lighting control system wirelessly to all moving heads. These will then process the information about movements, colours and figures, after which they will immediately execute the desired programme. Unfortunately, these connections must be made manually at each location, so we do not recommend this setup for inexperienced users.

Stand

Using moving heads completely wirelessly may appear quite chic, but that does not automatically make them suitable for more luxurious events. If you use this lighting at a gala or dinner, it makes sense that you’d also want the stands to look good. Don’t worry, somebody already thought of that. We supply these moving heads with elegant single pole stands. These do not have any protruding parts like tripods do. The minimum height of the stand is 150 cm. The maximum height is 250 cm.
