GreenGo Intercom (4 pieces)

During a convention or conference it is essential to stay in touch with all technicians, but the reasons for this can vary wildly. An intercom is the best solution. As a show caller you need to stay in contact with the technicians to give cues. If you are backstage, you need to stay in contact with the front of house or direction to be able to indicate that the next speaker is ready to go onstage. It is also possible to link the doorman to the GreenGo intercom, so he knows when to open or close the doors. The possibilities are endless.

GreenGo Intercom

Unlike outdated analogue intercom systems, the GreenGo intercom system operates using an Ethernet network. As a result, there is no central base station and the system does not rely on one crucial component. It is therefore impossible for the entire system to fail. With many older intercom systems you were always limited to using 1 or 2 lines. This meant that you were limited when choosing who was going to use the system. The end result of this is that much of the information was not actually intended for everyone using each line. Filtering the right information out from everything you heard was actually quite the task. Fortunately, with a wireless digital intercom, this is a problem of the past.

Digital

The new digital GreenGo intercom systems work using an Ethernet network. You could say that all the information for the intercom - as it is wireless - simply hangs in the air. It’s possible to create 32 groups using the GreenGo intercom system. Quite the upgrade since the old analogue systems! You can assign participants to each of these groups. For example, you can assign all technicians to their discipline or location; audio, lighting, video, stage, front or house, directing. A show caller can then be added to all these groups, making it possible to give cues for a specific group of technicians. This creates less noise and minimizes the chance of errors. With digital comms it is also possible to connect directly to a specific user- no need for interference from a group. This also means that this connection is not accessible to other users. This connection is set up between 2 specific call packs.

Wireless

The wireless call packs have a high-quality OLED display, on which information about the channels, cues and functions is displayed. There are 4 buttons positioned around the display. These buttons can be set up as desired and give direct access to a specific group or user. For most events this is enough. If you want more groups or users, you can use the two knobs on the side of the belt pack. These can be set up in different ways. For example, you can use one dial to adjust the volume on the headphones, while using the other dial to select the desired channels. The freedom offered by these dial buttons also makes each belt pack suitable for both left- and right-handed users.

Antenna

The wireless call packs in this wireless comms system makes use of a special antenna for transmitting and receiving. This antenna can connect to 4 wireless belt packs. This set contains 4 wireless belt packs, meaning that 1 antenna is sufficient. If you have more belt packs, then you will also need to add an extra antenna. A wireless belt pack can then connect to 4 antennae. This is necessary if, for example, an event takes place throughout an entire conference centre or on several floors. By connecting one call pack to multiple antennae, you will increase the range.

Batteries

Because these comms need to function wirelessly, they must be battery operated. This is why all the wireless comm packs run on batteries. Is the battery empty? To ensure that you never have to wait for the battery to recharge, each call pack has two batteries at its disposal. If one is empty, you can quickly insert a new battery in the receiver and continue immediately. The empty battery can be recharged directly in the supplied battery charger.
