LED Fresnel 130 Watts

Powerful lighting is required to illuminate large areas such as a stage or exhibition stand evenly. With the ADJ Encrore FR150Z you get a powerful LED fresnel that can absolutely be used at such locations. This LED fresnel is ideal for locations higher than 4 meters. From this height, the theatre spotlight really comes into its own. You can use this spot for locations of up to about 8 meters high. Is the event location going to have a ceiling lower than 4 metres? Then you could consider using this light’s little brother. This theatre spot has a 50 watt LED source and is therefore suitable for lower locations. The main difference lies in the dimensions of the light’s casing. Is the event taking place at a more intimate location? Go for the smaller version.

DMX

With a 130 watt LED light source, you may think that this theatre spot doesn’t seem very powerful. When compared with the wattages of conventional fixtures, 130 watts seems relatively low. Don't be fooled! Conventional fixtures consume much more power and therefore the numbers make them appear much more powerful. However, quite the opposite is true: LED fixtures, despite their lower power consumption, are actually much more powerful than you may think. In addition, conventional fixtures only have one plug. To control these old-fashioned fixtures, extras such as a dimmer and thick, heavy cabling are therefore required. Fortunately, this is no longer necessary with LED theatre spotlights. These have a display on which you can adjust these settings. For example, a dimmer is built in. This allows you to use this fresnel stand-alone just fine- even without an external dimmer you can adjust the light to your desired brightness. Conventional spotlights used to need very heavy and thick cables in order to control them. Things work differently nowadays. You can control this ADJ Encore FR150Z Fresnel directly via DMX. This fixture has both a 3- and 5-prong DMX input and output, with which you can control the lights via a lighting panel. There are many more possibilities than with conventional lights and dimmers. Using the built-in menu you can adjust DMX mode settings. For example, it’s possible to adjust the master dimmer as well as a fine dimmer, strobe and dim curve. This means that an LED fresnel is also suitable for projects where a conventional spot may not have been suitable.

Light spot

Usually theatre spotlights are hung on a grid, truss or tube frame. This often makes it easier to reach the ideal angle of 45 degrees when illuminating the object or person. This angle not only gives the best results in terms of lighting, but also results in the least inconvenience. It’s very annoying to be constantly blinded by spotlights when you are trying to give a presentation on stage. No possibilities to hang the theatre spotlights at your location? These spots can also be placed on stands. This allows you to operate independently regardless of your location’s possibilities. A stand can be placed anywhere, without any limitations. Our stands consist of a compact square base plate with a simple and elegant upright pole. This means that a theatre spot on one of our stands will not look out of place at more elegant locations, such as a luxury hotel or convention centre.
