When it comes to hoisting heavy materials, it's important to have safe connections. Most audiovisual equipment is equipped with a ring, eye or other connection method. A closed connection is often far stronger than a connection that can open and close. The 3.25 tons shackle offers the solution.

Purpose Shackle 

The bow shackle serves as the connection between two different materials. The bolt can be taken out so that mounting the materials becomes easy. It's important always to check whether one uses the shackle correctly. Due to the features of this product, where the harp is rounded and the bolt is flat, it's of the essence to install them in a certain way. This connection is not round. This means that the shackle does not handle a lateral load all too well.

Features  

A bow shackle comes with a bolt and a screw. The bolt comes with a nut. This is fastened using a cotter pin. Be sure that the fastener is mounted correctly to the connection points by turning it by hand and then by tightening it using a key, so that the head of the bolt is directly against the eye of the fastener. This shackle can be used in the Netherlands and many other countries. However this type is not allowed in Germany or Austria. At those countries a shackle with a nut bolt is mandatory.
