CO2 Jet

It’s very unusual in this day and age to have an event without special effects. This CO2 Jet
is a very often used effect. This unit creates large, white smoke clouds which leave the CO2
Jet with a loud, hissing sound. Unlike the CO2 Gun, the artist is not responsible for using
these CO2 Jets. They can be turned on and off from a distance. This allows you to use this
CO2 effect at unexpected moments. This effect is often used in larger numbers at openings and
events with a stage.

Using the CO2 Jet is probably simpler than you think. The CO2 Jet comes with a 10 metre long
high pressure hose, gas canister connector, and a base plate for placement. Connection works
entirely on quick action coupling basis. This eliminates the need for tools. Simply connect
the gun to the hose, the hose to the gas canister connector, and the connector to the gas
canister. Your CO2 Jet is now almost ready for use. All you need to do is connect the Jet to
a controller or switchable power strip. When the CO2 Jet receives power, it will shoot out
8 metre white smoke clouds. We can of course provide you with a controller. To get an idea of
the effect, you can check out the video at the bottom of this page.

In order to use this effect, you must rent a CO2 gas canister with rising pipe. This liquid
gas creates the white smoke clouds. This gas canister will come fully loaded, allowing you
to use it for 50 seconds. If you wish to use the CO2 Jet for longer than 50 seconds, you can
easily rent an extra gas canister.

Tips

Safety

It is forbidden to shoot smoke clouds at people or animals. Gas will leave the cylinder at a temperature of approximately -70 degrees celcius, which can instantly cause burns. Always shoot the CO2 Jet into the air or above your audience.

Oxygen

Always make sure that there is enough ventilation in your venue. Carbon dioxide is an oxygen repelling gas and can be dangerous if used too much. By ensuring that there is enough ventilation, you will eliminate the risk.
