Converter HDMI to SDI

Many video playback devices, such as DVD players and laptops, come standard with an HDMI output. This signal type is unsuited for long range playback. In order to transport this signal over larger distances, the signal must first be transformed. With this Blackmagic Design mini converter, you can convert an HDMI signal from your laptop or DVD player into an SDI signal which can travel up to 100 metres.

Connecting

You connect the HDMI cable to the video output of the source. The other end is simply connected to the HDMI input on the converter. On the other side, you connect the SDI cable to the Blackmagic Design Mini converter. All you have to do is supply the HDMI to SDI converter with power using the included adapter. The setup is then ready to use.
