Are you busy organising a small-scale event? You’re probably already aware that it’s tough to stay within your budget. The start-up costs of events like these is a lot higher percentagewise than larger events. Often, you’ll need to cut costs for any materials and services which are not entirely practical in nature, including backdrops and back walls. Of course, these also serve a purpose, but you can give a presentation without them. Luckily, it’s no longer necessary to leave out décor at small-scale events.

Backdrop properties

This backdrop makes use of a construction from our rental shop. The construction of this back wall is made out of frames from AluVision. By connecting these system walls, we can create a very stable back wall for a very affordable price. After all, these frames can be reused again and again. These frames are available in different sizes. In that sense, they’re similar to stage pieces. By combining different frames, you can create pretty much any shape or size. These frames are connected to one another using special links, creating a stable end product. Once it’s set up, you’ll see the basic shape of your décor- but it won’t look great yet.

Textile canvas

The décor will only start looking the way you want it to once you add a textile canvas. A textile canvas is custom made for your event. You can design it any way you want, meaning that your backdrop will look exactly how you want it to. The canvas will then be mounted to the outer edges of the frames. This backdrop consists of a central back wall which is 6 metres wide and 3 metres high. This is often placed behind a stage. This backdrop also comes with two side walls which are 2 metres wide and 3 metres high. This allows you to create depth on stage, but you can also use them as side wings.
