This Astera AX1 PixelTube Set is an incredibly versatile and powerful wireless LED tube set which can be used as mood lighting at many events.

Atmospheric lighting

For example, you can use these LED tubes as mood lighting integrated into a studio’s decor, or hang them in a location’s ceiling at an afterparty. Have you already thought about extra lighting when making a film or video recording? What about mood lighting at gala dinners? The possibilities are endless. Thanks to the built-in battery these wireless pixel tubes can be used completely freely. You simply don’t need to be connected to a power or signal cable.

Wireless

Because they’re completely wireless, these tubes can be used and hidden anywhere. No cables are required for the lights to work, nor in order to control them. The tubes can even function wirelessly for 20 hours nonstop. Using the included remote control you can quickly and easily set simple programs or fixed colours. If you want to control the tubes more extensively, an AsteraBox is required. This opens a whole new world of new possibilities: you can read more about it on the AsteraBox’s page.

Accessories

The Astera AX1 PixelTubes are packed in a specially equipped pelicase. In addition to protecting the wireless lighting during transport, this case is also used to charge them. Using the supplied power cable you can connect the tubes to the mains, and after 7 hours they will again be ready for full use. You will also find a lot of accessories in this pelicase which will make it much easier to use or mount the LED tubes. We supply one stand per LED tube. This allows you to place the tubes upright quickly and easily. We also provide 2 special clamps for each tube, which clamp around the tube. With these clamps you can for example mount the tube on a wall or ceiling. 2 rings are supplied per tube if you wish to hang the tubes up. These can be attached to the ends of the tubes, after which you can hang the LED tube from a truss or tube frame. There are also 2 spigots per tube included. These can be attached to the supplied tube clamps, but also to the end of the LED tube. As you probably know, these spigots can be used together with the well-known Manfrotto SuperClamps.
