HWC Events & Rental is a rental and production company that supports your events in a fresh, transparent and professional manner, guaranteeing success.

It all starts with passion. Passion for audiovisual tech. Passion for entrepreneurship, but first and foremost passion for thinking outside of the box. If we stick to audiovisual terminology; since the foundation of our company in 2005, we always showcase the newest sounds, shine light in places where it was once dark and we turn the written into the visual.

What we do

It started as a hobby that got out of hand – we initially started off with sports events, festivals and other live events and decided in 2014 that we wanted to shake things up big time. We consciously chose to only work at business events from that moment on. We are convinced that you can only excel if you work in a field where your talents truly lie, where you can showcase what makes you different to the rest of the pack and can truly get satisfaction from your work. In our case, that means that we help our clients get their messages across as clearly as possible using audiovisual technology.

From quite early on, it became clear that we wanted to do things differently. We wanted to keep innovating. The audiovisual industry is a very technical field, were many overly complex terms are used. We like to take a different approach. We like clarity and ease of communication, we’re able to shift gears ad hoc and know better than anyone else what needs to be taken care of when organizing an event.

Our People

We have realised early on that events aren’t bound by borders. By reacting to this realization immediately, we became one of the first Dutch audiovisual suppliers who made the switch to operating in English. Today our website, telephone system,   quotes, invoices and internal communication all operate in English. Language should never be a limiting factor when it comes to our international clients.

You’ll notice this when you meet our crew as well. Many of them have a commercial background where they learned specific technical skills, rather than the other way around. They’re social people who enjoy chatting about your industry and discussing any questions you might have over a cup of coffee. They’ll use their talents to the best of their abilities in order to help you.

It’s all about the customer

As a business supplier, we translate the messages conveyed to us by our clients. In our eyes, the most important things are to operate a well-oiled machine, leading to a successful event and a satisfied client. We don’t believe in hip marketing campaigns, sticker-covered transport cases or attention-grabbing social media channels. The way we advertise is by facilitating successful productions time and time again.

We were the first audiovisual company in the world to launch a full-service online rental platform in 2010, where one could not only reserve any needed materials, but also services such as transport and setup/breakdown. We were way ahead of the times, but we didn’t hesitate to develop these progressive technologies. Innovation is part of our DNA.

We are still innovating to this very day. We are the largest supplier of wireless light armatures in the Benelux region, we are using electric company cars, we’ve developed our own line of flight cases which emphasize efficiency, and we’ve recently launched a sustainable studio program together with leading hotels. We keep pushing the boundaries.
